Nov 1 :The Lincoln User Manual can be downloaded here : Avro Lincoln User Manual (PDF). Version v1.1 of the Lincoln has been released to vendors and should be made available by them on Monday. The main changes in v1.1 are the addition of the manual, the missing cockpit piece on RF555 and a range of external viewpoints. Repainters please note the paint kit is now available in our Freeware area.
May 20 :Version 1.1 of the B-29 Superfortress out now. The update fixes several minor issues with the exterior model only, the VC and the flight dynamics are unchanged. The main changes are - adding red bar to Korean War variants' insignia, increasing propeller diameter, making the prop spinners reflective, fixing F9 vc view keypress issue. Look out at for v1.1 in your download area at the site where you purchased the model. Some vendors may send out an e-mail alert to all owners of the model. The new file is the complete package, not a patch, so the old model should be uninstalled first.

We are now happy to include all panels and gauges for any freeware models we list, so if you have already downloaded a free model from our site and it lacks a panel and/or gauges, drop us an e-mail and we can re-upload your model's complete Zip file(s) - this time with all panel files included.

Mar 12 :New paint kits added to the Freeware Section. Adobe Photoshop files for the Sea King (FSX version), the CH-53A Sea Stallion, the Bristol Blenheim and the Supermarine Scimitar can now be downloaded.
Feb 15 : New Expansion for the FSX Virtavia B-24 Liberator - the C-87 Liberator Express transport and the C-109 tanker ! Both these models are FREE to existing owners of the FSX Virtavia B-24 package, just go to your personal download area (or wherever you normally go for patches and updates) at your vendor's site and you can download the installer. The Virtavia B-24 for FSX MUST be installed already for the expansion aircraft to work. These are external model expansions only, the default B-24 VC is still used, in very slightly modified form. For those wishing to modify the textures, the paintkit files used on the new models' textures are available in the Paint Kits section in the Freeware area.
Very nice work, The paint is beautiful. I had already downloaded this when Drew put it up. You have fixed a few things. I don't upload anything so I'll give some pointers on some obvious problems. You have started fixing the big problem and that is matching the Prop to the engine. Use the Horsepower on a Spec sheet like Wiki. Don't go over 2700 RPM. Not manual pitch - Constant speed. Not injected Recip - Carb recip. Set a gear ratio for these big engines. 0.1775 is a good start at the bottom of the engine location tab. Your RPM gauge will work now and don't use a Power gauge. Your mixture controls will work and put them in. For the most part they didn't have fuel injection until the Big R-4360's came out. you don't need mixture controls with those. All of Drew's piston engine aircraft will benefit from these upgrades. I have all of his aircraft and the 3D work is great. I just had to fix stuff. I didn't mention the actual prop settings, this will very for each engine and HP size. Just experiment a little or check an other aircraft like yours. I might add that a B-17 has the same engine and prop setup as the B-24. You guys are artists with your beautiful work. I can build an aircraft in x-plane but I can't paint them or do 3D. I am trying to get the time to study this side of aircraft work. Thank you and Drew again.
